Engagement Manager & Business Development Partner
Can be based anywhere in the UK Mainland or Ireland
Our client is an Irish based Consultancy group who specialise in leading edge change management and business process consultancy projects. They function mainly in the financial & insurance sectors but others too, virtually all within the private sector, but recently they have expanded into the Utility Market.
They pride themselves in being ‘fleet of foot’ and able to mobilise their activities quickly and deliver measurable results in the year to provide measurable investment return quickly.
They use a philosophy of commitment based work ethic where you agree up front your objectives, time frames and work on strict project delivery to plan.
They have certain solutions which are ‘off the peg’ and can be used to cover several areas of operations, however it is their system and process design that they would see as being at the core of their business offer.
Throughout the process of change they see their role as training and developing key staff to change their methodology and thinking processes to dovetail with those of the business.
The Business Development Partner salary will be in the £120K to £200K salary bracket
A new hire in this sector would be expected to bring to the role
- A strong business degree and knowledge of the sectors they play in
- A strong sales success ratio involving innovative new concepts and changing process paradigms
- Comfortable in leading edge IT solutions and the use of technology to effect dynamic change in business
- All the traditional executive skills such as strong communication, excellent motivator, counselling, mentoring, developing staff and commitment to achieving the task
- Client based skills in negotiation, problem identification and solving, handholding and continual presence
- Without doubt to win new opportunities and would be expected to bring some new clients when they commence
- Add value to the business propositions and grow the brand successfully in its target areas
- Marketing, visionary, thought challenging, communicator with abounding thinking and analytical skills
The Engagement Manager can expect to be in the £100 to £150K salary category.
A new hire to this role would require to,
- Own the fulfilment of the project with all the various targeted aspects being delivered to plan
- The ability to resource up the project team and use the tools of management to drive the programme always keeping the client engaged and on side with every course change or aspect of fulfilment
- Extremely agile and capable on leading IT matters to ensure leading edge IT design and capable implementation
- Have overall relationship with the client and be responsible 24/7 for maintaining excellent working relationships & client communications
- All escalation should be managed by this role and win over the full trust of the client
- Become the living embodiment of the companies values ,lifestyle and unique business ethos
- Often based on client site and treated by the client as an executive manager
BOTH ROLES WILL REQUIRE TRAVEL IN IRELAND AND EUROPE
