Head – Sales

Location: New York

Lead sales strategy and execution for the UK and European market

Reach customers (broadcasters) in the region for the sale of the company’s Products and Services

Pitch the company’s products and services to customers

Front-end requirements detailing with customers and effectively communicate this to internal teams

Debate and detail various technical solution options suitable for a customer

Front-end response to RFI’s and proposal requests from customers with due support from internal teams

Account management with existing customers in the region

Build relationships with customers and other stakeholders in the value chain

Gather market intelligence and customer inputs and provide feedback to strategy and technology teams within the organization

Effectively communicate and report on progress with various sales activities in the region

Identify and structure partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the value chain

Front-end and manage trade-shows and other events necessary to enhance sales of the company

 

Experience required:

10+ years’ experience selling technology products and services to the broadcast industry

Prior experience working for Playout Service Provider (or) Prior experience with working for a tier-1 technology vendor to the broadcast industry

Track recording of closing deals successfully with both large and small broadcasters

Rich contacts within the broadcast community

Rich context of the business, technology and services landscape in relation to Channel Origination, Channel Delivery and Channel Playout

A basic understanding and context of various technologies and systems used by broadcasters
